Safe and secure
We are constantly dealing with passengers who are at risk, vulnerable and require that little bit of extra care and attention. Therefore, we take the safety of our customers extremely seriously. That is why we have a number of measures in place to ensure that each journey that we plan is as safe and secure as possible.
Full risk assessments for new vehicles are carried out and policies and procedures are in place to ensure the safeguarding of vulnerable, at risk and young passengers. We have regular vehicle inspection and maintenance routines in place that are carried out by our Vehicle Safety Office, these are planned in a way to ensure any potential issues are identified and addressed promptly. We have an excellent reputation and safety compliance record with DVSA for all our vehicles.
We are fully licensed with approval to operate up to 28 vehicles. All our vehicles and drivers are fully insured with public liability in place to give you reassurance and peace of mind. We operate a strict alcohol and drugs control policy and regular health checks are carried out.
Professional and safe drivers
All drivers are vetted to ensure suitability for working with vulnerable people and are required to have been DBS checked. Regular driver training refreshers and feedback sessions are arranged to ensure best practice and good driving habits.
We have also invested into sophisticated driver tracking to improve driver behaviour and improve fleet safety. It includes forward-and driver-facing AI camera technology to detect and help drivers self-correct dangerous or distracted behaviour. Any non-conformances and aggressive driving behaviours are identified by the system and drivers are informed and re-trained where applicable to improve driving habits and behaviour.
