Founded in 1982, Star Coaches provide a modern range of 16 to 70 seater luxury coaches for hire. Located in Batley, we are ideally placed to provide coach hire in Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Halifax, Wakefield, as well the whole of West Yorkshire, for travel anywhere in the UK.

With a designated vehicle safety officer in place for the fleet, all the coaches and minibuses at Star Coaches have a strict vehicle inspection and maintenance schedule in place.

With a team of dedicated cleaners following a strict daily cleaning regime that is in place, this ensures a nice pleasant and comfortable journey and experience for all of our valued and loyal customers. We are large enough to cope, but small enough to care.

Available 24hrs, 365 days a year

Our experienced operations and courteous customer services teams are always at hand to provide you with the best advice for your requirements. All of Star Coaches vehicles are available for hire 24hrs a day and 365 days a year.

Our fleet is inspected and cleaned on a daily basis to ensure they are sent out in pristine condition for each job. In the event of an unlikely emergency, Star Coaches have an excellent backup and a duty manager is always on call 24hrs.

Operating from our purpose built two-acre site in Batley, West Yorkshire you are more than welcome to pop over to have a look at the vehicles and meet the rest of the team at Star Coaches to discuss your coach and minibus hire requirements. You can rely on us!

Eco-friendly fleet

The vast majority of our fleet are equipment with innovative Euro 6 engines which has been designed to help reduce harmful emissions that leave the exhaust by 50%. In addition to this, we operate from a state of the art energy efficient depot which helps to reduce our overall carbon footprint.

Absolutely professional and amazing services. So I recently booked a return ticket from Bradford to London and fro. The first trip was smooth, however on my return to Bradford, instead of me coming down from Leeds and connecting to Bradford (shorter), I continued to Middlesbrough, so passengers started getting out, only for me to realize I was the only one left in the bus. The amazing team of Star Coaches of Batley Mr.Mubeen and Driver Andy Wood drove me back to Leeds and I successfully connected to my final destination.

We went to scarbados yesterday 21st September 24 .was a great day our driver yousaph was brilliant. We're a club for people with learning disabilities. .Yousaph. .was so patient and friendly. Our History

Star Coaches was established and we took out first ever Staff Transport contract for S R Gent.

1982

Bought our first brand new Mercedes minibus to service Kirklees school transport contracts.

1987

Built a garage for light maintenance at the back of George Street.

1988

Bought a 3rd brand new Mercedes minibus and changed our brand colour to metallic blue.

1990

Started operating larger midi-coaches (33 seaters).

1994

Imran took over the business from his father and began expanding the fleet to include 57 and 72 seater executive coaches.

2000

Bought our first brand new full size coach.

2007

Acquired a 2.5 acre site of land conveniently located opposite our site on George Street.

2014

Started development on the new site and moved in fully by 2021.

2018

Took delivery of our brand new Limited Edition Scania Irizar i6S making us the first company in West Yorkshire to own this model of vehicle and have a vehicles with mirror cam technology.
