At star coaches as a driver you start your day by grabbing the keys to your vehicle, checking everything over making sure that everything is in good working order then filling in a form on an app on your phone, the app system is a streamline process much more efficient than public bus companies and allows a much more direct way to get any issues over to mechanics fast,I always found all vehicles to be properly maintained and clean. although it is the drivers duty to clean the bus at the end of the shift, if any further cleaning is necessary, it was done by a member of staff on site which was great.The jobs were generally fun to do with excellent clientele, one thing I really enjoyed about working at Star Coaches was that no two days were the same, in summer I would usually do trips to the beach museums and all different types of out door activities.The company also realise heavily on schoolwork with private schools located in Bradford, Wakefield, Halifax and Leeds, I generally found the students to be respectful and not too loud considering their age.The hardest part of the job would probably be the school runs and football fans.so the job is in fact not very difficult and rather enjoyable.My experience of management was excellent always there if you had any questions or issues.This is a family run Business and that comes through in the way your treated.Finally my overall experience of the job was excellent and had I not been leaving the country to move to Australia I would’ve stayed in this company indefinitely!Thanks to all the family at star Coaches!
